On Sat 17 May 08 Amy and I became engaged.
After months of planning and preparation we finally went back to the place we had our first date, Fanshawe Park Conservation Area. I had a great speech planned for the final moment however, my brain went on vacation when the time came. I totally forgot everything I wanted to say. In a spastic manner I managed to get the words out.

I thought I was sunk. Amy had a confused look on her face and didn't really understand the question. After some thought she said...
YES!
Thank the Lord. She said Yes.
We are very excited about our adventure for the next year while we plan the marriage. We are thinking that the first week in October 2009 will be the date. This of course is subject to further discussion.
